Gusto Guitars has developed its own teaching curriculum which divides playing levels into beginner, intermediate and advanced. Lessons are tailored to each individual students goals and abilities. From beginners wanting to learn their first song to advanced students studying for exams, Gusto Gutars prides itself on being able to deliver the relevant information in a fun, relaxed manner.

Lessons are offered for both acoustic and electric guitar. Gusto Guitars can teach any playing style whilst building the basis of strong playing techniques. We also offer lessons to students wishing to sit for AMEB guitar exams (CPM or Classical).

Bass

Bass Guitar

Bass Guitar lessons are offered to student of all levels of experience. An emphasis is placed on theory fundamentals which help a bass player to understand the bass lines they play and also create their own. Students can learn a variety of playing styles for the Bass and lessons for AMEB Bass Guitar exams are also offered. 

Double Bass

Double Bass

Gusto Guitars offer Double Bass lessons to students of all ages and playing abilities. With styles ranging from rockabilly, jazz, blues and rock through to tradition classical techniques with the bow, we are able to cater to each individual students wants and needs. Lessons are also offered to students wishing to sit for AMEB exams on the double bass (CPM or Classical). 

Ukulele

Ukulele

The ukulele is a fun, easy to pick up instument that can be enjoyed by students of all ages and abilities. Ukulele lessons at Gusto Guitars are delivered in a fun relaxed manner with the goal of getting a basic understanding of music fundamentals and having fun in learning your favourite songs.

Theory

Theory/Songwriting

Whilst theory/song-writing lessons are taught within all instrumental lessons, Gusto Guitars offers lessons to those wishing to solely focus on this side of music. Whether you want to compose music for a solo artist up to a full orchestra or you want guidance in sitting for AMEB theory exams, we will be able to put you on the right path.
